We've had a lot of people asking if they'll see us at the One of a Kind show in Toronto this year.
We know many of you come to the show specifically to get Thorpe Toys for the kids in your life, and we love getting to see you, hear your stories, and watch your kids grow.
Due to an abundance of caution, we will not be at the One of a Kind Show this winter.
We've been doing the OOAK show for over 40 year, without missing a year or a show. So we've seen a lot of changes and a lot of kids come back as new parents themselves. It's been wonderful.
We love being there, and of course connecting with our friends and other vendors at the show. We were honoured to be inducted into the One Of A Kind Hall of Fame in 2013.
But, unfortunately, we will not be there this year.
If you are looking for toys for the holidays, you can buy them from us here on our online store, or visit a local toy store in your area who carries Thorpe Toys. If you are in the southern-Ontario area, maybe even attending One of a Kind, you can also purchase online here and arrange for curbside pickup in downtown Toronto, Waterloo or Schomberg.
Please support our friends and colleagues who will be at the One of a Kind selling their handcrafted, one-of-a-kind art and crafts from November 25 to December 5, 2021 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.
It's been a challenging time for makers, crafters and artisans who rely on in-person craft shows to sell their work.
